Chronozoom tourWhy I am posting lateI am so sorry for posting this late! My Internet has been in and out this past weekend, and when it's been OK, I have been away from the house. I am using my time wisely right now to get this posted ASAP. Thank you for understanding! My past weekendMy weekend has been filled with chaos and a lot of work. Early in the morning on Saturday, I had a soccer game. I then went out for lunch to come back to no Internet. If you haven't noticed, my Internet is pretty crappy. Then when the internet came back up, we had to leave for dinner. I then did homework from other classes. After that, I come to my computer to make my blog posts, and realize that my Internet is out again. Sunday I have to mow the lawn and clean my room. When I have my lunch break, my Internet (once again), is out. So I have to spend my lunch break sitting and doing nothing. After I clean my room, my parents wanted me to go to Centerfest downtown, and I said yes, because the Internet hadn't come back. When I came back, the internet was out until now. This is why I am posting this late. Please understand. Visualization TechniquesSo the prompt for this week's blog post is to choose three different types of visualization techniques that interest me. Photography interests me the most, because it shocks me how far the camera has come. From a wooden box filled with film and with a lens on the front, to a tiny piece of technology with more space than 1,000 of those boxes. Also, TV interests me, because I wonder how they had the technology in the 1910's to use satellite to transfer pictures live to millions of people around the world. And now, they can be in color, and curved?!?!? How do the colors red, green, and blue make different colors at the same time? And how do people make curved TV's without breaking them?!?!? Compared to early versions of these techniques, modern day techniques shock me. Finally, cave paintings really shock me, because how were these nomads/settlers 10,000 years ago were smart and artistic enough to make art to keep track of trade, deals, or to worship holy/sacred figures. It shocks me that there are even more of these cave paintings that haven't even been discovered.
